The protection of your personal data is of particular concern to us. We therefore process your data exclusively on the basis of the statutory provisions (GDPR, TKG 2003). In this data protection information, we inform you about the most important aspects of data processing on our website.

1. contact with us

If you contact us by e-mail, the data you provide will be stored by us for six months for the purpose of processing the inquiry and in the event of follow-up questions. We will not pass on this data without your consent.

User website: The WordPress Foundation stores the following data using ‘ServerLogFiles’:

The page accessed (URL), the browser or browser version, the operating system used, the referrer URL (the previously visited page), the host name and IP address of the accessing computer, the time of the server request.

Newsletter subscribers: Name, email, IP address and time zone

Employees: Name, address, date of birth, social security number, time sheets, activity reports

Customers, suppliers and their contact persons: Name, title, address, e-mail, telephone number

The data is required to process the contract and is initially stored for the duration of the business relationship. In addition, the data will be stored in accordance with the statutory provisions and retention obligations.

5. data storage for purchases in our webshop

We would like to point out that for the purpose of simplifying the shopping process and for subsequent contract processing, the webshop operator WordPress and WooCommerce may store the IP data of the connection owner as part of cookies, as well as the name, address and credit card number of the buyer.

In addition, the following data is also stored by us for the purpose of processing the contract: Name, address, email and account details. The data provided by you is required to fulfill the contract or to carry out pre-contractual measures. We cannot conclude the contract with you without this data. Data will not be transferred to third parties, with the exception of the transfer of credit card data to the processing bank / payment service provider for the purpose of debiting the purchase price, to the transport company / shipping company commissioned by us to deliver the goods and to our tax advisor to fulfill our tax obligations.

After canceling the purchase process, the data stored by us will be deleted. If a contract is concluded, all data from the contractual relationship will be stored until the expiry of the retention period under tax law (7 years).

The data name, address, purchased goods and date of purchase are also stored until the expiry of product liability (10 years). Data processing is carried out on the basis of the legal provisions of § 96 para. 3 TKG and Art. 6 para. 1 lit a (consent) and/or lit b (necessary for contract fulfillment) of the GDPR.

6. Newsletter:

If you register for the newsletter using the form on our website, you will receive an automatic confirmation e-mail requiring your renewed consent (double opt-in process).

The personal data is then transferred to MailChimp: Name, email, IP – address and time zone are transferred to MailChimp and processed there. The Rocket Science Group, LLC, which operates MailChimp, is certified in accordance with the requirements of the Privacy Shield. Our website works with Google Analytics. Google Analytics uses “cookies”, which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyze how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. However, if IP anonymization is activated on this website, your IP address will first be truncated by Google within member states of the European Union or in other states party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and truncated there.
