In 2014, the family-run Eichler bakery in Linz Urfahr was renovated. In addition to the revitalization of the sales area, the coffee house area was also expanded. The aim was to underline the company‘s proximity to the baking craft. The desire for more insight into production was met by restructuring the individual areas. The shelves for product presentation, formally inspired by the bread carts from the Eichler Bakery, also ensure transparency and openness. A long counter with folding glass protection merges into a coffee house table and dissolves classic boundaries between the sales process and customers. Custom-made wall tiles and partitions inspired by the old cast iron windows give the room an individual and inviting character.
