The group rooms are open and spacious, which creates flexible usage options for everyday life and at the same time sufficient space for special events. Two large multifunctional boxes of local larch wood are placed in each room. The boxes are a counterpoint to the open space and can be moved freely around the room. Three differently designed box models were developed for use as a reading box, work box, and activity box and provided with appropriate materials and adaptations depending on the area of use. Circular cutouts in the doors and boxes are reminiscent of caves and playgroups. A clear design language combined with pleasant materials and harmonious color schemes makes the kindergarten a place where children love to spend time and develop themselves with joy.
