In November 2014, the permanent exhibition ZEITSPRÜNGE URSPRÜNGE opened on the entire ground floor of the Hallein Celtic Museum. The prehistory of the state of Salzburg is discussed. The exhibition concept is structured in a multi-layered manner and allows visitors to decide how deeply they want to immerse themselves in the respective topic. This complexity was visually emphasized by the exhibition design finding inspiration in the archaeological work process. Based on the structure of sediment layers, presentation levels with seating areas were created. Transparent showcases, a multimedia presentation, and interactive experiences were integrated into the multifunctional furniture. Care was always taken to treat the building structure with consideration.
