Wine manufactory Strobl

The main focus in the Stroblkeller is on the wine experience. The former wine cellar was turned into a presentation location for the Clemens Strobl wine manufacturer. In collaboration with the architect Wolfgang Wimmer, four floors were renovated and expanded. Old parts of the building were uncovered and new rooms were opened up: storage and presentation of the wines underground, tasting area on the ground floor, culinary areas, and terraces on the first floor.
The cellar conveys a sense of comfort through a muted lighting concept in the old walls, while the culinary area offers space and a view of the vineyards. The design is a result of direct engagement with the process of wine production and its storage.
