Travelling back in time could hardly be more authentic than with a time machine. We designed just such a machine for the Berlin-based interactive media company m-box, had it built in Linz and delivered it to Dresden.
Equipped with pedals, a joystick and VR glasses, the time machine enables an amazing journey through the history of the Dresden Zwinger – one of the most impressive buildings of the Baroque period. The original patron and visionary of this architectural masterpiece was Augustus the Strong, Elector of Saxony and King of Poland.
The result is a complex interplay of ergonomics, mechanics and electronics, which creates a unique experience that is further enhanced by a futuristic film set design.
